Mountnugent has basic supplies, with larger supermarkets in Virginia. Crover House Hotel and its golf course are nearby.

The practical details, before you choose your dates.
Is the whole house private?
Yes. The house is booked for one group, with exclusive use of the guest accommodation, grounds and advertised guest facilities. An owner’s room and technical areas remain private and locked. Please stay within the property boundaries; neighbouring land and access ramps are private.
How many guests can stay?
Up to ten people, across three guest bedrooms with three double beds and four single beds. There are two bathrooms. Visitors count towards the maximum of ten people at the property and must be agreed with the host.
What are check-in, checkout and the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is two nights. Check-in is from 3pm and checkout is by 11am. Early arrival or a later departure may be considered around the turnover schedule, but only applies when confirmed in writing.
How do the hot tub and sauna work?
Both are wood-fired and normally heated and operated by guests, using the provided instructions. They are not automatically heated, so allow heating time. No one under 18 may use either facility. Activity safety rules and the required acknowledgement apply.
Are kayaks and the boat included?
Kayaks, a canoe and an oar-powered boat are provided, subject to suitable weather and safe conditions. Lifejackets are provided and must be worn. The boat motor is not available to guests. Follow the activity guide and complete the required safety acknowledgement before use.
Is it suitable for children?
Families are welcome and there is a children’s play area. The lake is open and unfenced, so children need adult supervision. The house is single-storey, with some entry and outdoor steps. Contact us before booking if you have specific access needs.
What house rules should we know?
This is a peaceful retreat, not a party venue. No parties, alcohol, smoking or pets. Quiet hours are 10pm–9am. The lead guest must be at least 30. Exterior security cameras remain on during stays; there are no indoor cameras. Please review and accept the full house and activity rules before booking.
What should we bring?
Bed linen, towels and robes are provided, along with standard cookware and kitchen appliances. Bring your food and personal essentials. Please use bottled water for drinking, the kettle and coffee machine. Check with the team about BBQ charcoal and any specific supplies before travelling.
How do payment and cancellation work?
The applicable total price, payment schedule and cancellation terms are shown in Lodgify before you complete your reservation. Read them carefully, including any non-refundable amounts. Contact the team if anything is unclear before paying.
